In today's society of worldwide upheavals,it is no longer domestic or limited to a specific area, I mean it has taken on global proportions, political,economical,religious,racial and social.
The magnitude and speed of the escalation of these global upheavals has national leaders desperately groping for solutions, everything seems to be wildly spiralling out of control,it's like a turbo charged passenger train being derailed and the passengers are being catapulted everywhere aimlessly headed for destruction,the situation is screaming for SOMEONE to take control and make sense of what is happening.
The atmosphere being created by all this turmoil is one of egotistical proportions,people are being driven into a dangerous,selfish and materialistic survival mode, at any cost they seem
to chant in agreement they must survive physically, AT ANY COST !!! people everywhere be-
cause of the hard economic times are compromising their spiritual values on the premise that
they "have to do what they have to do" to survive,on the premise that their families have to eat and they have to live somewhere and this is where the "rubber" meets the road.
This is where satan steps in and deceitfully reasons with us since we are all faced with the same dilemma which I shall call the "ESAU DILEMMA", this dilemma strikes at the heart,it deceives the heart,it hardens the heart,it confuses the mind and more than anything else it threatens to wreak spiritual havoc in the lives of everyone,it threatens to morph our mindset into Esau's mindset, selling out our birthright in Jesus Christ by partaking of sinful compromise and faced with the distinct possibility of losing out on our blessings of salvation,our heart becomes hardened because of "material needs."
We no longer want to fight the good fight of faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we want to be like Esau and for a fleeting moment of survival compromise we indulge and before you know it we are just like Esau,for the sake of a morsel of bread we sell out our birthright and embark on a life of compromise which leads to spiritual destruction.
The Spirit of God is saying "BEWARE" of the trap satan is setting,he is using all his guile in
these end times,he is using hardships,international turmoil,personal economic hardships and distractions to lure us into Esau's mindset so as to destroy us,Jesus Christ our soon coming King knows about the economic hardships,the unemployment issues we are facing,the foreclosures,the evictions,compromising temptations,our daily human struggle to survive, this is why today He is risen and at our Father's Right Hand,we can approach Him boldly and cry out to Him for mercy and support..Our Mighty Redeemer will give us a way of escape from the "ESAU DILEMMA"...
Jesus said in the Gospel that the birds of the air do not have to worry about being fed,He said to behold the lilies of the valley,He said Solomon in all his days of glory was not arrayed as on of these lilies. These are His Words,He wants to comfort us,he says if we who are evil knows how to give good gifts unto our children HOW MUCH MORE WILL HE GIVE GOOD GIFTS UNTO US.
What a blessing we have in Jesus Christ for giving us that wonderful promise....all we have to do is repent when we sin and because of HIS SHED BLOOD we can start all over again by His Grace and pursue Him with all we have.
As mankind gets ready to face it's darkest hour in history be assured that the distractions we are facing, personal and otherwise are nothing compared to the real wrath about to be unleashed upon this world, be assured that our allegiance to Jesus Christ is about to be severely tested and only those who are prepared to forsake all for His sake will survive and overcome..
The night is truly already spent and daybreak is here, His coming is upon us, be wise,be humble,get ready,be repentant and tell others about His shed Blood,His mercy,His free Gift of salvation and His desire that none should perish but have everlasting life through His Divine mercy.In closing let us pray:
"Lord Jesus we thank You for Your eternal love for us,for Your shed Blood,Your mercy,Your forgiveness and the opportunity you have given us to be your witnesses unto this world.
In these trying times when it is so very easy because of daily struggles in our lives to compromise and sell out to this world and satan ,it is so easy to throw up our hands in despair and give up, help us Oh Lord to hold on to our faith in You regardless of the pressures we are facing,help us Oh Lord to be strong,to be courageous,regardless of how depressed and helpless we feel, help us OH Lord to see the big picture of eternal blessings for those who overcome,help us Oh Lord not to become frustrated like Esau and lose our blessings of Your Divine Salvation.
Anoint our minds and our lives,guard our tongues,guard our mouths that whatever we think or say shall and will always bring honor to Your precious name Lord Jesus,let the meditation of our minds and hearts be always spiritually uplifting and may we always be the salt of this earth,we thank You Lord Jesus our soon coming King be always with us. Amen
